No words. I can’t even think of a title for this.

Okay. Truly one of the most disturbing and weird dreams I have ever had occurred last night.

It will definitely be top five in my lifetime. And what’s strangest is that I woke up, barely remembered it, had to get going on the day, and only now – a bit after 1 in the afternoon – just remembered it again.

I visit a friend of mine, whom I haven’t seen since high school. Good to see her, of course. At some point, I suffer (I can only assume) grievous bodily harm to my left eye. Think “out, out vile jelly!” Not really painful, and no trauma…it just happened. You know how dreams can be. As it turns out, my friend has a tampon that can help stanch the flow. One that she was otherwise just about to throw away. And apparently she’s had experience with this sort of thing. So while I tried to put it in my eye socket (but couldn’t because I was nervous about the pain involved – and no other reason, really), she waited patiently, then took control of the situation, pushing it in slowly until it, uh, clicked into place. Apparently it was surrounded by the plastic applicator, still. The hope was that it would also possibly preserve what little eyesight I had left, and maybe even improve on it.

Okay, Freud. Tell me what the fuck THAT one means.
